Welcome to my personal website. Here you can find my art gallery, including projects for class, and details about me. All my artwork is under the 'Gallery' tab.
I use quite a few different media. I'm most proficient in digital, graphite, and oil. The subject media I work best with are people, creatures, and color. I work with many genres, including fantasy, realistic, impressionistic art, and graphic design.

Updated the gallery with a quite a few pieces: class projects, original art, etc. The biggest addition is the final result of the reflections tutorial I did for the Official Corel Painter Magazine.

Finished my first session at the Art Institute of Pittsburg and I'm really looking forward to my other classes. |

This is my final project for my perspective class. I used 1 pt perspective here with a matchbox, thread spool, buttons, hazelnut and acorns. Good stuff! Took me a long time, probably because I had to deal with all sorts of vanishing points and guidelines. Done in photoshop.

I had submitted my design for the 'Festival for the Eno' poster a while ago, didn't think I had gotten the gig. Surprise! I got a email a couple weeks ago that my design had gotten picked.
So the theme for each year is a different animal found in the Eno River ecosystem. This year, its the red shouldered hawk. The design was done in Adobe Illustrator. Took a long time, being my first vector, ~50 hrs.
You can read up on the festival by visiting www.enoriver.org. I'll update with the finished poster that includes all the information on the festival. |

I've added a couple new pieces from some of the commissions that I've been completing. It's been pretty busy with class and work, but I've managed to finish these.
This was commissioned by a coworker of mine, from one of my many jobs. I painted this in oil and mixed it a little with linseed oil.
Took longer than I expected because of the grass. Ended up having to stop painting those itty bitty blades before I imploded... and the background isn't sky its water. I had to stop myself before I worked that to death too. |
